Lawrence
This small game, or digital comic, is a distillation of the final weeks spent with my dad. My father, Lawrence, passed away from complications of ALS on March 20, 2015. My brother and I had been staying with him for several months -- caring for him, and also just hanging out. After he was gone I started making these doodles, and the doodles eventually became this piece.

My dad also passed away from Huntington's (similar to ALS) in 2015, and his middle name was Lawrence, so I can weirdly relate to this game on multiple levels. My sister is also a game dev and spent the last few weeks of his life drawing him. We've kept a lot of them to help remember him. This also took me back to all of the liquid food supplements and spoon feeding (and body washing) that was required for years.
They're truly devastating ways to watch your parent die, so my heart goes out to you. Thank you for making a game about this and sharing your family's story.
