'Year of Luigi' was an event for commemoration & contemplation, as we started the new year following the murder of the CEO of UHC by Luigi Mangione on the morning of Dec.4, 2024. Luigi fired three shots, then escaped by bike, and was eventually caught at a McDonalds in Altoona Pennsylvania, 286 miles away. Breloom (#286) is Luigi's favorite pokemon.

this was beautiful. The way the buildings would pop up as you moved forward, tapping into the "Luigi mythology" with an appearance by breloom, the cop kaleidoscope as a visual representation for the state using all of its tools available as a means to enforce its monopoly on violence. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged, I'm touched.
I hope Luigi is freed and gets the justice they deserve.
